I worked at Progressive Waste full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Dispatchers ,Drivers and Hoppers make the company.

    Cons

I've seen Management come and go. This last group of Managers destroyed the company. They threaten the employees with their jobs. When the Senior Manager is going to fire someone he walk around playing his guitar and singing a song. When ever there's a problem with a driver the other manager will make that driver leave his cell phone on the desk and take him for a walk. If you tell management anything personal it's discussed with everyone. I have been in the waste business at least 18 years and this is the first time I've ever experienced this. Management is concerned about their bonuses instead of the business. The Progressivewaste can be a beautiful place with the right managers. The ones that have love for the business and their employees.

    Advice to Management

Dan Pop need to interact with his lower paid employees, so that he would know the things management is doing and allowing to happen. Look at the turn over.
