I have been working at SOS Security full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The contract you might have can be great places to work or bad. Depending on the people you work with and the post you get assigned to.The pay is more than what normal security companies start you at.

    Cons

The post you might work at could be or the people you work with could ruin your experience. You can be removed with just 1 complaint from an employee of the post you are contracted at. No room for growth.

    Advice to Management

Make sure the people you hire are kind and friendly.

I have been working at SOS Security (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The pay is comparable to most companies and the schedule is flexible for school.

    Cons

Standing in one spot for hours on end, watching people buy expensive clothes and purses is mind numbing. Also, there is no upward movement and competent guards are not given the time of day, but incompetent ones get better positions.

    Advice to Management

Take better care of employees that have put time in. Give them more opportunity and acknowledge their contributions. Offer them advancement of some kind. Competent individuals will not settle for standing guard at a high end store doing nothing.
