    Great people and direct manager Benefits Culture

    Cons

    After it got acquired by Mitel, everything went downhill including culture and moral. Benefits were also inferior on every level.

    I have been working at ShoreTel for more than a year

    Pros

    Talented Engineers. VERY competitive salaries.

    Cons

    Company is stuck in the 90's with aged .NET platform that can't handle the load of the business requirements. Attempts to move forward to more modern techniques are resisted. Company has significant communication issues and suffers from meeting-itus. I spent 98% of my time in meetings to discuss and plan meetings, meetings about products, meetings about why those products were needed, and meetings where we then scrapped those products due to some critical fire. High attrition due to disconnected management.

    Pros

    We worked almost in start up mode for years.. everyone was involved/engaged. Communication was great... Everyone strived for the same vision.

    Cons

    New CEO came in, bringing a new management tier- who basically made everyone redundant to look good on the books for a sale. Then they sold.
