I worked at Synechron full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Free snacks / iced coffee
    - Occasional free lunch
    - Foot in the door to better opportunities (IF YOU'RE NOT ON BENCH AND NEW TO THE JOB MARKET)
    - fun outings

    Cons

-Absolutely ZERO structure. If you ever get hired for Synechron, you will see how disorganized the structure is (onboarding, etc).
    - No 401k (keep in mind this is a company with 8k employees).
-No loyalty to employees. If you are on a visa (h1-b, etc) BE VERY WARY OF SYNECHRON. They do not take that into consideration when preforming their rounds of layoffs.
    - Toxic work enviornment. Office is absolutely out of control in-terms of politics. Some of the sales employees are insane, power-hungry individuals that let their salaries and revenue projections overtake their sense of decency.
    - Rates offered are horrible for the market, part of the 2020 initative.
    - Sexism runs rampant in the company
    - Nepotism is absolutely out of control at Synechron

    Advice to Management

    - if you want to make a diverse and inclusive environment, start off by letting go of those in power that support racist, sexist and homophobic ideals.
    - Listen to your employees (yes we need an ATS!!!!!!!, yes we need an HRIS, yes we need a 401k, yes we need to restructure internal operations)
    - Synechron's reputation is definitely tanking, I suggest starting to listen to your employees and making immediate changes to how the company is run.

I worked at Synechron full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Nice modern office in uptown Charlotte.

    Cons

Although I was able to learn from my time at Synechron and use it as a stepping stone to further my career, I would not recommend anyone to work here. There is a complete lack of organization and communication throughout the company. In addition to this, many of my coworkers experienced unfair treatment due to their gender (female) or because they are unable to speak the native language of most employees (Hindi). Synechron, and its CEO in particular, show no loyalty towards employees that have dedicated their time to the company for many years and are quick to show anyone the door in an effort to reach their goal of becoming a “Billion Dollar Company by 2020”. Because Synechron is not a publicly traded entity, transparency is completely lacking. Management and leadership regurgitate whatever white lies they can to reassure employees of the company’s success and encourage them to stay. Nepotism also runs rampant; friends and family of clients receive special treatment as employees of Synechron and are given unbelievable leeway. If you try to address any of these concerns with management or HR, company culture is to ignore the issue and avoid confrontation at all costs. Don’t work for Synechron – you deserve better.

    Advice to Management

Listen to employee concerns. Avoiding conflict only escalates issues - hence the horrible turn over.

    I worked at Synechron full-time

    Pros

Taught me what to not look for in a company.

    Cons

This place is not a good place if you are looking for a long term career. They will push you out in a heartbeat to meet their 2020 "goals". Also not a great working environment for females from my observations and conversations with colleagues. I think their vague responses to other negative reviews prove the point. HR completely ignores complaints if it is made towards a male employee. I have made reports first hand on individuals for extremely inappropriate behavior not only to my manager, but HR and nothing had or has been addressed. HR actually completely avoided a meeting that we had scheduled to address the complaint, so do not let them fool you with saying they will because I took the steps and the didn't. Low pay, negative environment. There is better out there

    Advice to Management

Take things seriously. You are creating a work environment where people feel unsafe by not addressing any issues
