Overall good experience, but could have been a great experience
Pros
-flexible schedules, easy work/life balance -you do meet a lot of great people -deadlines for work are manageable -great exposure, especially to international business and corporate events -opportunity for travel and promotion -nice perks like free food & drinks -benefits are good, but HR has a hard time explaining them/helping you -you learn as you go in most cases there is no formal training
Cons
-even though you work with a lot of great people, there are still office politics that can be very distracting and unnecessary to the work, not everyone is as nice as they seem -micromanaging is a huge con here, even managers who aren't yours do it you start to feel like you are under a microscope -lots of road blocks from upper management/exec team which stunts growth and opportunity for the company & employees -you'll find some really hard workers at this company and then you'll find people who know how to take advantage of them -HR ultimately just processes your paycheck, they have the companies best interests not the employees -they thrive on their Future Ways of Working like working from home and better technology, but not everyone gets those perks and the computers/phones are very outdated for a telco company.
