Great people Great company
Jun 13, 2022 - Freelance PhotographerRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Love having the option to work during the slow season of my photography business. I specialize in Dramatic Sports shoots and headshots, so it's nice to change it up and shoot some Real Estate. The people at Walkthrough are very supportive and provide guidance whenever requested...and they are all a lot of fun to work with.
Cons
The Real Estate does have its dips, so sometimes you are not as busy.
- Current Contractor★★★★★
Pros
Not many, but gave me good experience early on.
Cons
Pay is very low for industry standard. This is because prices are also quite low. Quality of final product is rather low and thus it attracts mediocre agents and clients. Not much work and the work you do get usually only pays about $60 a shoot which is very low for RE photography.

Great flexibility, awesome management

Love that you can make your own schedule, really fun and nice management team, great flexibility
Cons
Some technical issues with scheduling, sometimes you’re driving pretty far between shoots (but you get to set your radius), larger houses sometimes aren’t worth the pay (based on sq ft)

Great and flexible job

Walkthrough is a great place to work if need extra work, want a second job, or if you just want to do photography. You are able to build your own schedule to fit your needs. The staff is friendly and very helpful.
Cons
Realtors can reschedule or cancel shoots with short notice but it's not a big deal.

You get to say the days you’d like to work, you get to use technology
Cons
You can have assignments taken out from under you, you can get no bookings whatsoever, you can make zero money.

Innovative positive team!
Aug 24, 2018 - Photographer in Denver, CORecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The positivity and optimism of this company is amazing!! Walkthrough is a young company and still ironing out the some of the details, but they do it happily and with so much energy. The photography job itself is a dream. The company is willing to work around my very weird schedule, and for me that’s huge. The core staff works very hard to bring together their remote photographers, creating more than a team atmosphere. It’s closer to family. They encourage humor and originality. They want to hear employee feedback and very often it’s integrated!
Cons
The cons would be nothing more than the growing pains of quickly expanding company. Pains the core staff take care of almost immediately.

Unique and Hardworking Startup
May 23, 2017 - Anonymous Employee in San Francisco, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The team is comprised of bright, tech-savvy individuals. Management is responsive to individual needs and is concerned with employee's potential and future at Walkthrough. I've worked at big corporations where people tend to have the "cog in the wheel" mentality, at Walkthrough- it was refreshing to see employees engaged and genuinely enjoying what they do. Traits to have- diligent, focused, honest, flexible. The company has a fun atmosphere and you will learn so so much. They're constantly striving to improve our technology and processes. Walkthrough is cutting edge and I can't wait to see what their future holds!
Cons
None substantial enough to note at this time.
