    Pros

There are no pros for this company. Just another greedy insurance company trying to scam its employees and customers out of thier money and sanity.

    Cons

    Where to begin?
The training is abysmal and employees are never even taught the full details of the terms and conditions for the warranties they sale. The management are fake and do not care about employees growth and well being. Only making more money to line their greedy pockets. Also the management loves to demotavite employees by putting down the group when goal isnt reached and saying it is all the employees fault.
Sales are always stolen and redistributed to other agents cutting into your commision. Cancelletions of policies even months after being sold are taken out of employees comission sometimes $600 or more dollars at a time in a pay period. Commision is a joke. You have to make $4000.00 in sales in a 2 week period to start commission and you only get $0.25 extra for every hour worked.
80 hour work week ×$0.25 = $20 dollars of commision. Rougly translates to .005% commision out of $4000.00. To make a decent wage of 15.00 an hour you have to sell at least $13,000 in a 2 week pay period. Warranty service is terrible and customers are not interested in warranties due to high cost of renewal and hassle of getting repairs on thier appliances. You constantly hear horror stories of waiting 3 months or more for a repair on a customer's fridge or washer and dryer machines. People cannot go that long without the use of major appliances like that. As a customer you would be better off trying to fix your appliance on your own. A one year renewal on a 5 year old television can range up to $200.00 or more.
1 year old washer and dryer sets can cost up to $300.00 dollars or more for 2 years of coverage.
Old phone leads are constantly recycled resulting in calling the same customers 10 times or more a month after they've said no everytime. They even call customers back that have requested to be put on a do not call list which is highly illegal. You get cussed at and screamed at for constantly calling and annoying the same people.
    The turnover rate is terrifiying.
Nobody lasts in the department more than a year or two due to the childish antics of the management and the terrible pay and hours.
In summary stay away from this place and continue your job search because there are much better oppurtunities out there.

    Advice to Management

I hope this company goes out of buisness. Your ceo's and executives should be ashamed of yourselves for operating such a scamful business.

I have been working at Warrantech full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The other agents that I've had the pleasure of getting to know are quite amazing. You'll come into contact with some supervisors and leads that are more than willing to help you out whenever they can.

    Cons

The processes that take place regarding how to do your job properly are ever changing with a lack of communication. Upper management constantly breathing down your neck or making open threats about punishment for not following certain processes that seem to change more than once a week yet still are not clear on what's to be expected. Lack of communication within different departments causing customer service reps more stress due to the types of calls that are received.

    Advice to Management

Upper management needs to come to the realization that the customer service reps are not where the true issue lies. Take a look into your other departments that are not properly doing their job which in return means we end up getting the short end of the stick when taking calls and hearing the complaints from our customers but not being able to do much more than advise them EVENTUALLY someone else will do their job.

I worked at Warrantech full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There are numerous positive things about working at Warrantech. Not only does the company offer competitive reward and benefits, but Warrantech is rapidly growing company that actually wants its' employees to grow. With being small-scaled in terms of employees, I have never seen such diversity. The company has exceptional standards, morals and beliefs. It has a very friendly and collaborative.

    Cons

    There really isn't anything bad

    Advice to Management

Give people the chance to learn and then the opportunity to advance.
