Pros

Blissful ignorance for the first few months.

Cons

Where shall I begin? *compensation is not worth the amount of time you work (unless you are upper management or a serious brown-noser) *the lowest paid employees are expected to know the most and be on-call constantly *managers have no idea how to manage *nepotism and sexism runs rampant with extreme denial following in its footsteps *don't bother trying to change process because you will not get any backup from your manager on it *laziness is rewarded while hard work is taken advantage of *passion is seen as attitude *customers are given shotty products that are half baked and only fixed when they practically threaten to leave *communication between departments and from upper management is non-existent *when communication is given out it is either to publicly humiliate or criticize *there is zero communication to customers when a problem occurs unless a customers calls in about it *management gives the company fancy vagaries and buzz words on how to improve the company, but cannot follow through on execution *training is "sink or swim" *documentation is "maybe if I feel like it" *if you excell at all prepare to be put on a pedestal until the next bright and shiny thing comes around

Pros

Great people to work with, good salary.

Cons

Poor management from the top, high turnover, very little training, chances for advancement are at the whim of the president and can be pulled out from underneath you with one wrong action.

Pros

Casual dress, beer Fridays at 4pm, great coworkers. They truly do a great job when he interview individuals because they really do have a great staff.

Cons

It is kinda funny to read all these reviews because they are right on point. When I read them before I started I was a bit skeptical thinking mostly it was a reflection of a poor culture from the past, or a few disgruntled employees. But they are spot on! I am just going to add a few things from my experience. The company really has no strategy. The message or focus seems to change week to week. Management preaches a "nimble culture" but its just quick reaction-ism based on pressure from our vertical partners or a sample of our customers. Do not get on Tom's radar and he is a terrible manager of people. He likens his management style to a football coach but rarely is his message positive. Nothing you ever do is good enough. He uses "game films" (seriously, everything is super macho/athletic driven) to break down your mistakes for the group. Nothing is really constructive and it's just to use you as an example for your team. I am not kidding you when I tell you he will pick everything you do apart- from email signatures to to how many minutes you need to show up before an internal meeting. You make one mistake, you better start looking for a new job because he will make your life pretty tough at work. Micromanagement is an understatement. Zero training. They hire people based on this ambiguous idea of the WorldView culture rather than qualified people whom are experienced with the solutions or products they sell and support. Not to take anything away from the great people there (I am one of those people with limited experience). I have seen a lot of guessing and assumption that have led to problems. Unless your are well versed with OnBase I would suggest looking elsewhere. WorldView will not give you the necessary experience to work with this product. There is a lot of turnover within the company. Ownership will always say it was the departing individual that wasn't mentally tough enough, but there haven't been many success stories at WorldView. And I challenge ownership that the turnover of qualified people is a poor reflection of ownership rather than the individual. People usually don't make it very long at WorldView.

WorldView would like to thank you for all of your feedback. I agree that we have wonderful staff here, and Fridays at 4 are always fun! I am sorry, though, to hear about your frustration with the underdeveloped training program. We are continuing to review and make improvements in the employee development space as we want to build on the skills of our staff. We as a company understand quality resources are key to our success. We are currently constructing a more in-depth training program to better prepare and develop our awesome team. We hope to roll this out soon!
