Demonstrating the power of investigative journalism 👏. Following Channel 4 Dispatches' groundbreaking investigation with The Sunday Times, King Charles and Prince William’s private estates - the Duchy of Lancaster and the Duchy of Cornwall - have this week announced significant changes. Broadcast last Autumn, the documentary exposed details of rents charged to charities, the NHS and other public bodies, which had previously been kept secret. The Duchy of Lancaster, for example, stood to earn £11.4m from one NHS Trust renting a warehouse to store ambulances. Now, following the investigation: ✅ The Duchy of Cornwall has decided to cut the rent it charges to some charities. ✅ The Duchy of Lancaster has announced it will review rents charged to the NHS and other public bodies. For those who want to catch up, ‘The King, The Prince and Their Secret Millions’, is available to stream on Channel 4.

Channel 4 will air Gaza: Doctors Under Attack on Wednesday 2 July at 10pm. This is an important and powerful film examining shocking allegations that hospitals and healthcare workers have been targeted by Israeli forces during the Israel-Gaza conflict. Laithwaites are the first brand to partner on Channel 4’s new vertical video food and drink social platform, Channel 4 Served, with a series which sees wine creator host and expert, Aleesha Hansel, challenge creator chef and social media star, Tyler Butt, to create a variety of meals inspired by a different Laithwaites wine each episode. What a few days at Cannes Lions! 🦁 Marking our fourth Grand Prix for our fourth Paralympic Games on Channel 4… the Considering What? campaign took home the highly coveted award for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games! 👏The campaign also won two prestigious Gold Lions in the Film Craft category: one for the campaign film’s direction and the second for the campaign’s editing prowess. Bronze Lions were also brought home for the same campaign around Corporate Purpose & Social Responsibility and the use of original music. Huge congratulations to everyone involved!
