CohnReznick’s Breakthrough Program is an early talent identification initiative we hosted in the office over two days pre-pandemic. As the pandemic unfolded in the spring of 2020, we shifted our approach to fully virtual format. With our interns now exploring the firm in a remote environment, we needed to find an innovative way to highlight our focus on strengthening our communities and our CohnReznick Cares mission. In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month in May, our interns and others participated in a “Trivia for Charity” game where they “earned” points and ultimately raised $10,000 for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) – the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization. The event was a huge success for everyone involved. Congratulations to our incoming 2022 internship class for helping us reach our goal for NAMI, and thank you to the client service professionals that attended and supported the event!
CohnReznick LLP was named a Handshake Early Talent Award winner! This award honors employers that blast through barriers to help early talent achieve their dreams. We’re so excited to make the list.

As CohnReznick continues our celebration of Black History Month, we are highlighting just a handful of the many inspiring Black explorers and scientists whose groundbreaking work has expanded our understanding of not just our planet, but our universe! • Neil deGrasse Tyson is a true trailblazer and icon in the field of astrophysics. • Matthew Henson was a Black explorer who participated in several groundbreaking expeditions to the Arctic. • Mae Carol Jemison first made history in 1987 when she became the first Black female accepted into NASA’s astronaut training program. Then, in 1992, she made history as the first Black female to fly into space! • Ayana Elizabeth Johnson is a brilliant marine biologist whose commitment to advancing science in policy making, coupled with her focus on education and mentorship, is crucial to the wellbeing of our climate and oceans. • Gladys West is a mathematician whose expertise in helping to develop mathematical modeling of the earth and analysis of satellite data was the foundation for the creation of GPS.
On January 6, we welcomed more than 265 entry-level associates and interns to CohnReznick. This talented group participated in People and Culture’s innovative CR Journey Onboarding Program, which was redesigned in response to the unique new hire challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic. The new onboarding program, launched in the fall, allows us to develop our biggest asset, our people, in a fully virtual environment. Through the program, each new team member gains knowledge and skills through real-time learning opportunities including virtual events, webinars, and engaging discussions. To further enhance the onboarding journey, the new hires can customize their experience with options such as scheduled learning events, LinkedIn Learning recommendations, one-on-one networking connections, weekly discussions, and more! This model helps to foster connections across the firm and enables participants to acquire the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to launch successful careers here at CohnReznick. Congratulations and welcome to CohnReznick!
