CohnReznick Chief Innovation Officer Tama Huang discusses the diverse nature of our communities and the data and technology challenges many of these communities face as they emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The injustices experienced by Black Americans must end and that calls for leadership from all facets of our society, including corporate America. We stand strongly and firmly against racism, bigotry, and the violation of civil and human rights. We will use our positions of privilege – first to listen – and then to work to change the systems, norms, and biases that create and sustain inequality and injustice for people of color. CohnReznick has made contributions to National Conference for Community and Justice and The Equal Justice Initiative. The firm has given its employees time off on June 19th in honor of Juneteenth and will be using that time to reflect and learn. Our Leadership Team along with our Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging Council are constructing an expanded action plan to ensure we continue to make strides to end the social and systemic inequalities.
CohnReznick has been actively monitoring the rapidly evolving situation surrounding the spread of COVID-19 and the health and safety of our people has been our number one priority. As a result, our firm has taken the position to transition our entire workforce to a remote workspace. During this evolving situation, we are continuously adapting our recruiting process to ensure we are innovative and proactive as we navigate these complex circumstances. Below are some of the ways we are acclimating as a firm: • Video interviewing • Virtual on-boarding for new hires • Virtual summer internship • Virtual networking events While recruiting has slowed down for experienced hires in our Audit and Tax practices, we are continuing to pipeline great talent for our future needs. We are still actively recruiting for some of our Advisory practices and welcome you to visit our Careers Page to explore all of our current and projected opportunities.
