Last Friday, GoDaddy employees had off, for our fourth #WellnessDay of the year. This day is so beneficial for providing balance in our lives, while not worrying about coming back to too much work! Some of our employees shared what they did throughout the day, which included: grabbing donuts, visiting pumpkin patches, antiquing, camping under the stars, tackling challenging puzzles, & road trips.
GoDaddy hosted five TechWomen for mentorships at our Santa Clara Office. The fellows are from Nigeria, Kenya, Sierra Leone, Kyrgyzstan, and Pakistan! Our team is excited to support these entrepreneur’s missions and be a part of the career development of Women in Technology around the Globe.
Last Friday, GoDaddy employees had off, for our third #WellnessDay of the year. We asked that our employees use this time to rest and recharge. Mental and physical health are so important, in the balance of work & life. Some of our employees shared what they did throughout the day, which included: spending time with grandbabies, drinking coffee in the yard while watching a family of hummingbirds, biking in the White Mountains, and sleeping until noon!

GoDaddy’s 2021 Sustainability Report is officially out and we want to share some of our TOP progress activities with you! - We’re proud to announce our commitment to reduce our scope 1 and 2 emissions by at least 50% by 2025, and we are actively working on a long-term goal. - Since 2017, we’ve served over 5,000 entrepreneurs through our Empower by GoDaddy program. - Achieved both gender (global) and ethnicity (U.S.) pay parity for the seventh year in a row.* - 37% of all hires were women and 50% of the hires in the U.S. were minorities. We continue to work hard to deliver to our customers, society and our people.
GoDaddy believes in pouring time and energy to advancing our employees’ careers in a culture of creativity. The GROW program was founded to provide our Care & Services guides, as well as a select population of Tech and Corporate employees, opportunities to gain hands-on experience in other areas of the business that interest them. In 2021, 25 employees participated in GROW rotational assignments across the company. Our goal was to fulfill their desire to learn and grow their skillsets by undertaking meaningful work and assignments to help them confidently take that next step in their careers. May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage (AAPI) Month! This is an annual celebration that recognizes the contributions of people from Asian, Asian American or Pacific Islander ancestry to American culture. The month of May was chosen because it commemorates the migration of the first immigrants from Japan to the United States on May 7, 1843. It is an opportunity to celebrate the extraordinary cultural variety and vibrancy of the AAPI diaspora, and also an opportunity to raise awareness about the unique challenges members of these communities face. This month, GoDaddy is celebrating the cultures, traditions, and history of these communities. Through our GD Asians Employee Resource Group, we will be hosting a multitude of events, including: a Tea Time Series with Mayur Jain (Director of Engineering here at GoDaddy) and a Boba Social Hour, where team members can purchase tea kits from Loose Leaf Boba, a GoDaddy customer.
