Women Influencing Sharp’s Evolution (WISE) is proud to partner with The Valley Hospital Breast Cancer Research Foundation as the recipient of proceeds generated by Sharp employees during multiple October events. Sharp Executives and WISE committee members and volunteers gathered at Sharp HQ to present a $5,000 check and 25 treatment bags to The Valley Research Foundation. The treatment bags will be given directly to the oncology patients and the funds will be used to provide services to patients that need financial assistance. We are proud to #support Valley Hospital and raise awareness for a wonderful cause. Thank you to all employees for your donations!

We are thrilled to work alongside many fantastic organizations, including the Boys and Girls Club of Paterson and Passaic. Last week, volunteers collaborated with fitness experts to help children learn about healthier lifestyles as they approach the new school year. Sharp was recognized in the Large Companies category (more than 250 employees) alongside other prominent organizations across varied industries, including Edward Jones, EisnerAmper, New York Life New Jersey, RSM and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. Sharp was recognized as a result of a comprehensive employee survey that asked what makes the company an ideal workplace, including questions on culture, perks, and benefits. NJBIZ collected the data confidentially to allow employees to share candid feedback.

We are so proud that we took home not one, not two but THREE #FrankAwards at THE CANNATA REPORT's 35th Annual Awards & Charities Virtual Gala! Thank you to our hardworking team as well as the dealer community for this honor. We were recognized with the Best-in-Class award for the third year in a row and the Best #Manufacturer for the second consecutive year. Also, our President and CEO Mike Marusic received the Best Male Executive award for the second consecutive year.
This September, Sharp employees working in the Montvale HQ were invited back to the office on a rotating schedule where they were greeted with a fun and safe Back to the Office outdoor event for employees! Food trucks, drinks, a DJ and a raffle ticket for a $100 Visa gift card were all part of the festivities. SEC Chairman, Ted Kawamura welcomed everyone back, letting everyone know how happy he was to see the employees and wished he could give us all a big hug! Although things may look different now, it’s not forever. Eventually we will get back to our fun events and activities. But for now, it’s just good to see each other in person!
