“This year marked my sixth anniversary working as an Internal Auditor at Thomson Reuters. Reflecting on my journey, I promised myself to spend a year being intentional with where I wanted to take my career. I felt my personality would thrive in a Human Resources (HR) position and knew I would regret it if I never took a leap of faith and explored a new career path.” Meet Rebecca, Human Resource Manager, Texas

“How do I balance building my career while starting a family? A big part of the answer to this question is finding a company that supports work-life balance and flexibility, which I am fortunate to have found at Thomson Reuters. My colleagues and leaders have been supportive and accommodating, making my maternity leave experience smooth and stress-free. The Thomson Reuters maternity leave policy in India has been a great help to me in this new journey, as I was able to spend six months with my baby. I am glad to be part of Thomson Reuters and have the continued support of the organization as my baby grows.” #WorkingAtTR Meet Neha, Assistant Company Secretary Asia Pacific, Mumbai

“My favorite part of being a Thomson Reuters intern is the opportunity to engage with esteemed and highly talented individuals across several business units. It's incredible to be surrounded by genuinely passionate people energized by their work. During the time I spent in the office, I thoroughly enjoyed interacting with other employees. Everyone at the office is welcoming, and they all exhibit a warm vibe, regardless of their background or position." Across a variety of business units, 15 interns joined our Thomson Reuters team in Manila as part of our diversity and inclusion internship program. We’re proud to say that in July, we had our first cohort of interns graduate from the Thomson Reuters Manila Internship Program! We created this program with the goal of creating a safe space for students coming from underrepresented groups. It allowed us to celebrate them for who they are and who they want to be. It started them on a path to becoming tomorrow’s leaders. We are looking forward to expanding on this success with future cohorts. Check out a few photos from the interns' experience below.

“I started working at Thomson Reuters in March on the Employer Branding team. One of the first things that caught my attention was how leaders facilitate and advance culture. I've found that leaders at every level of the organization model inclusive mindsets and behaviors, support personal and professional goals, and encourage employees to take advantage of the wide range of perks and benefits. One benefit that I recently used is Thomson Reuters Work from Anywhere policy. My manager was delighted that I wanted to try this new flexible work arrangement. She quashed all my doubts about trying out the benefit and adjusting my typical work routine. I traveled across Canada, flying from Ottawa to Calgary, to spend the week with friends. Moving from Eastern to Mountain time, my manager encouraged me to adjust my working hours for the week, ensuring I had the flexibility to enjoy my time away from work while in Calgary. " Meet Jacob, Sr Employer Branding Specialist, Ottawa

I started #WorkingAtTR in March 2022 on the Employer Branding team. One of the first things that caught my attention was how leaders facilitate and advance culture. I believe an organization's culture is only as strong as its leaders.

  • If there’s one thing that 2020 has taught many of us, it’s the value of having mind-space to deal with the unexpected. And at Thomson Reuters, we strive to place increased long-term focus on mental health and the overall health of our people #workingatTR. So today, we announced that our associates will be given a mental health day off on October 9.
