As a global company, we’re privileged to have associates from all different backgrounds and experiences. Together we must stand up against racism and other injustices when we see them. We’re taking steps to increase education and opportunity for open conversation at TransUnion; we pledge to listen and to do our part to enact lasting change.
Now more than ever, #LifeatTU matters. While we aren’t together physically, our culture is one that enables great collaboration and innovation regardless of location. We’re proud of our associates who’ve shaped this organization, and continue to give their all to support consumers, customers and our communities in times of need. While our workforce continues to operate remotely, we’re not slowing the impact we have in the communities we serve. Our purpose has never been more clear - to help people access and manage the information they need. Enabling trust between consumers and businesses so they can transact confidently is just as important today as it’s ever been. Hear more from our CEO Chris Cartwright.
We’re continually thinking of ways to keep our workforce feeling energized and connected around the world. Today, our very own DJ Joe helped associates kick off the weekend in our first Feel Good Friday Mix. #lifeattu #FridayFeels
Happy Earth Day! Recently, our Working Parents Group at TransUnion hosted a virtual artwork show and tell. Check out this piece by a 9 year old TU kid - she's already raising awareness for one of the world's endangered species. This week the group will host a virtual Earth Day event where the kids will make art using recyclable materials. Joy Canonigo, Senior Director of Leadership Development, is helping protect healthcare workers and other critical teams by using her sewing skills to make masks. She’s seen such an overwhelming response from other TransUnion associates that she started a TU sewing group for those wanting to lend a helping hand!
TransUnion is proud to celebrate International Women’s Day! We work today and every day to create an equitable culture where women are empowered and our differences are celebrated – because that makes us stronger. Listen to what some of our associates had to say about empowerment.
We were recently featured in a company spotlight by the Illinois Technology Association. It’s an honor to have had the chance to share more about the exciting opportunities that exist here at TU as well as give some insights on what our employees look forward to each day. We’re proud of the work our African-Diaspora Alliance group is doing to connect all associates during Black History Month and celebrate the contributions of the African American community. At their event yesterday, our associates participated in an enlightening discussion about the concept of “covering” and the role we can all play in creating a more inclusive culture.
We’re proud to celebrate Black History Month and the contributions of African Americans this February. Throughout the month we’ll be sharing events, associate stories and the progress we’re making toward a more inclusive workplace.
