Transcom Philippines ignites anew its resolve to grow its footprint in Bacolod City as it formally opens a Recruitment Hub at 21 Lacson Street. The opening ceremony was led by the company's Senior Vice President for Human Resources Caroline Co and Bacolod City Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez. Housed in a structure previously occupied by Cafe Bobs, Transcom's Recruitment Hub is strategically located in a busy area with high foot traffic that is very accessible to job seekers. Co said that, "Transcom is looking to expand aggressively in Bacolod as it teems with amazing talents and skills needed by the BPO industry to respond to the growing global demand for quality customer care." The City of Smiles played a key role in the expansion and continuous operation of Transcom in the Philippines according to Mark Lyndsell, Transcom's CEO for the Global English Region. "It is home to about a third of our entire employee population in the country and has been a long-time venue where most of the important brands or clients of Transcom are served," Lyndsell added.
We’re thrilled to welcome Travis Coates as our new global Chief Operating Officer! Travis brings with him over 25 years of experience in the customer care sector. Having spent 14 years at Teleperformance prior to joining Transcom, Travis served as EVP of the Advanced Services Division, then as Managing Director for the Philippines, before becoming COO for North American Operations. “I’m delighted to attract Travis to Transcom. With his experience of running world class operations at scale, we’re further boosting our capabilities to serve global clients and to enhance our performance”, says Jonas Dahlberg, President and CEO of Transcom.
Transcom Philippines volunteers from our Pasig and Ayala 30th sites finally turned over a total of 201 children’s books to the Gawad Kalinga (GK) Arkong Bato community on June 4, 2022. This CSR activity is geared towards supporting and advocating reading and literacy among children with limited access to books and other educational resources. A total of 30 grade-schoolers participated in the activities together with volunteers from various Transcom accounts and support groups. Aside from the formal turnover of children’s books headed by Elma Dela Isla, GK Pasig Coordinator, the program also included a meaningful storytelling session with the kids, as well as fun parlor games such as “Hep Hep, Hooray”, “Longest Line”, and “Grab-a-Shoe”. The event was also graced with the presence of Ken Juarez, Managing Director for Transcom Asia Pacific, and Caroline Co, SVP/People Officer for the Global English Region, who both expressed their support and appreciation for the initiatives of Gawad Kalinga in creating significant opportunities for Filipino children.

Transcom Philippines opens new satellite office for its Work-At-Home employees in Davao City Transcom Worldwide Philippines, Inc. held the ceremonial opening of a new and highly-equipped satellite office called “T:Space” for its Work-At-Home (WAH) agents in Davao City on March 23, 2022. Primarily designed as a business continuity hub complementing the WAH employment setup in the Philippines, T:Space will serve as a back-up location for WAH employees who are experiencing internet downtime, and those who are affected by power outages, natural calamities and other issues that prevent them from working at home effectively. Her Excellency Annika Thunborg, Ambassador of Sweden to the Philippines, led the ribbon-cutting ceremony to formally open the T:Space. T:Space is located in Door 1, Ground floor, Bldg. 3, Matina IT Park, McArthur Highway, Matina, Davao City. Aside from being a BCP hub, it will also serve as a venue for training, IT operations, team meetings, and storage and deployment space for WAH equipment.
