Over the weekend, it was one of our favorite days - #NationalToiletPaperDay! Veritiv proudly distributes towel and tissue products for businesses. Veritiv Connects empowers employees to give time, talent or treasure to their local communities in order to help individuals learn, grow, and thrive. In July, 155 employees volunteered 388 hours giving back to their communities! Read more below for a few highlights: 1. School is Baaaaaack! Our employees were challenged to host Back to School drives across the country for Boys and Girls Clubs of America in Fairfield, Ohio; Atlanta, Georgia; and Jacksonville, Florida. We also packed dozens of backpacks for United Way of Rutherford County in Tennessee. 2. Employees from Clifton, New Jersey and Buffalo, New York hosted food drives to support FeedMore Western New York and CUMAC to support neighbors in need. 3. In-person volunteerism is still one of our favorite activities and our Dallas, Texas and Fairfield, Ohio teammates were ready to help young men and women with Boys and Girls Clubs hone their professional skills. 4. Team members in Spokane, Washington helped with a Habitat for Humanity build.
