Another fantastic Take Your Kids to Work Day (TYKTWD) is in the books! 📚 On April 25th, our Employee Resource Group, Expand, dedicated to supporting caregivers and parents, hosted its annual #TYKTWD event in our DC and NYC offices. The day was jam-packed with hands-on activities integrating STEAM learning principles and practical insights from various Yext teams. Thank you to the Expand leads and employee volunteers who made this event possible!
Happy Earth Day! Today and every day, let's honor, protect, and celebrate the planet we call home. 🌎 At Yext, we’re committed to sustainability, reducing our carbon footprint, and inspiring employees to live sustainably — in and out of the office. Join us in celebrating Earth's beauty by swiping through images captured by our team members, reminding us of the importance of preserving and caring for it. 💚
Some of our NYC Yexters volunteered with God's Love We Deliver, an organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of those facing HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other serious illnesses by alleviating hunger and malnutrition. With the help of thousands of volunteers, they provide over 15,000+ daily meals to fellow New Yorkers who cannot cook due to their health challenges. We are grateful for the opportunity to come together and help make a meaningful difference in our community. ❤️
At Yext, we live by the mantra of working hard and playing hard – and this has been perfectly exemplified by our Hyderabad team and their love for a little friendly cricket competition. 🏏 Did you know cricket is the world's second most popular sport globally, right after soccer (or, as some would say, football), with its largest fanbase in India? It's no surprise that our Hyderabad team has embraced this passion for the game. This winter, our Hyderabad office started a Yext Cricket League featuring three teams and four matches. Join us in congratulating the "Strikers" for clinching the championship! We cherish the moments when our employees bond over shared interests, extending beyond the workplace. With the success of this league, we eagerly await to see who will claim the title of the next Yext Cricket League champions! 🥇
Women’s History Month shines a light on the incredible achievements and contributions of women across the globe, both past and present. Here’s a recap of how Yext celebrated empowerment and inclusivity across our global offices: 💼 Hosted a Leadership Panel to share best practices for supporting women in the workplace. 💰 Partnered with SoFi to offer their Women's Financial Empowerment series. 💡 Organized a day full of workshops for employees and young female graduates in our Hyderabad office. 🌟 Recognized colleagues with "Women Admiration Wednesday" shoutouts, displayed across screens in our London office. 🎉 Held office celebrations in Berlin, London, & NYC featuring sweet treats & drinks from women-owned businesses. While Women's History Month may have come to a close, let’s continue to uplift and champion the resilience, innovation, and strength of women everywhere!
We are thrilled to share that Yext has been recognized as one of Mogul's Top 100 Workplaces for Diverse Professionals in 2024! 🏆 This recognition reaffirms our dedication to fostering inclusivity, where everyone is empowered — from women to minorities, individuals with disabilities, and beyond. Elevate, Yext’s Black Employee Network, is proud to have recognized the monumental achievements Black Americans have contributed and defined pieces of American history this month. Black art reaches far beyond the black community and inspires people of all backgrounds. Recently, Elevate held a paint-n-sip for members and allies, channeling their inner artist with a unique fluid technique taught by Brooklyn-based artist, Danielle Chery. Beyond Black History Month, Yext stands behind the continued fight for racial equality. As we actively and intentionally create safe spaces, we will continue to demonstrate our commitment to supporting our black employees. ❤️️ 💚 💛
A few weeks ago, Yext held a blood drive at our NYC HQ in partnership with the New York Blood Center. Here are the highlights: ❤️️ 27 Yexters donated ️❤️️ 31 pints donated ️❤️️ 93 total lives saved While Punxsutawney Phil may predict an earlier spring, we're still in the peak winter season, which often sees a decline in blood donations, leading to an increased risk of shortages. February, the month of love, provides a perfect opportunity to continue spreading the message of love by giving blood when it's needed most. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who volunteered! Your act of kindness has made a significant impact, and we eagerly anticipate hosting another successful blood drive next year.

Last week, our ERG Equip hosted happy hour trivia events for Yexters worldwide to raise awareness for #Movember, a global initiative supporting men’s physical and mental health. This movement tackles the 3️⃣ biggest health issues affecting men: mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer. Our offices in Paris, Berlin, London, NYC, and DC joined in, with both individual employees and Equip contributing to fellow Yexter Anthony Rinaldi's lifetime fundraising goal of $100k!
