Our first #InternSpotlight is Ethan Stanley, an 📍NYC-based Software Engineering Intern pursuing a computer science major and an entrepreneurship minor at Cornell University! Ethan is a part of the team who leads our UX Engineering projects and initiatives. This summer, he's had the chance to work on many different projects, including — 🦾 building out new component functionality, 🔍 adding features to our navigation bar, & 🛠️ upgrading some of our front-end tooling When reflecting on his summer experience, he said, "The most rewarding part of my internship has been the mentorship and learning. At Yext, the interns are fully integrated within the Engineering teams and work on the same projects and day-to-day tasks as the full-time engineers. Though I have only been here for a couple of months, the friendly faces surrounding me at work and the enjoyable conversations and stories I hear from other Yexters make me very excited to be a part of the team!” Let’s just say the feelings are mutual, Ethan! We’re excited to have you on our team too. 👏

In celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we’re spotlighting some members of our ERG for intercultural employees, Embrace 💛 First up: meet Alicia Phuah, a Director of Client Success in our London office. When asked what brings her joy about her heritage and culture, she said: "I love sharing Malaysian food with friends. Cooking and gathering around a large table of food brings back childhood memories of my mum’s cooking and allows me to share a part of my heritage with others and explain why the dish brings me joy and the history of where it originated from."
