I have been working at Texas Roadhouse full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Working for Texas Roadhouse is a really wonderful place to work at. It's fun, fast paced, and you get an awesome 30% discount on your food. You have the potential to make some decent money and develop awesome regulars which makes you want to come to work. Management is good, they actually take into consideration of what you have to say and overall the staff is amazing too. You are treated like one big family and are well taken care of. Who could go wrong with that?

    Cons

Sometimes their is a little bit of favoritism from the managers, however they work really hard to treat everyone as equals.

    Advice to Management

You all are doing a great job, managing can get tough. Just keep listening to what your employees are saying and they'll be happy! Keep up the great work!

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took a week. I interviewed at Texas Roadhouse (New York, NY) in April 2018.

    Interview

I applied for a position at the Deer Park location. Manager was friendly and well spoken. This truly seems like a great company to work for. Some things to know before applying. Company was opened by friends Kent Taylor CEO and Willie Nelson. Total country vibe, and you should probably have an interest in that in the very least because you will be line dancing and you will want to yee haw when shouting out for someone's birthday. They will give you a chance to warm up to it! Restaurant is only open after 4pm weekdays and after 12pm weekends.
