Interviewed Jun 2008 in Sacramento, CA (took 3 days)
I first applied through campus recruiting from my school, and then was selected for an on campus interview. The interview was about 45 minutes long, with the recruiter from HR, and was basically a run through my resume and then standard behavioral questions, finished with questions on my end. After that, I went to the office for my second round, which was another 45 minute interview with a member from HR and a current Fund Accountant, in which I was asked more behavioral questions and also questions about what I was looking for in the position, what kind of growth I was looking for, and what kind of corporate culture I liked. The third round was again at the office, and was two interviews, each with two managers or vice presidents of fund accounting. I was asked some basic knowledge questions about fund accounting, but on the whole it was also a 'fit' interview with some behavioral questions. After that I was telephoned with the offer.

Negotiation Details
Not much was negotiable except for the start date. State Street goes through tons of Fund Accountants so they basically give you an offer, take it or leave it.
Other Details
I got the interview through a College or University and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview, a Group/Panel Interview and a Background Check.
