What is paid time off like at Bain & Company?

Pros

1. you're surrounded day in and day out with some of the brightest, most driven, most interesting people out there 2. you have an opportunity to work on the most interesting issues in business 3. Bain truly values its people and is incredibly flexible about helping people pursue their individual passions - from working part time to taking time off to pursuing pro-bono interests I personally have made life long friends here and have felt that Bain has my back at every step of my career

Does Bain & Company offer massages?

Pros

Good perks including free meals, festival vouchers, and other gift hampers

Cons

BCC is totally different from Bain & Company and hence the culture, few senior leadership people are running the organization and rest all levels have to follow their whims and fancies Minimum flexibility, micro management, bad leave policy (need to apply one month prior to the date), total number of leaves are also less and 5 mandatory leaves at the end of the year when office is closed is also deducted from employee's balance The worst part is ack. and eod mails to onshore teams are being reviewed at multiple levels. Manager written mail is reviewed by Senior manager and so on. Good place for college pass outs and that's why this is a bottom heavy organization

Advice to Management

Why BCC hire experienced people if the common philosophy is even a tenured or a senior employee can't communicate or write proper emails
