I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at American Income Life (Melbourne, FL) in May 2013
Interview
Someone will call and say they found you're resume on either monster or careerbuilder and that they're part of human resources (AIL does not have an actual HR department). They inform you that you've been selected for an interview with the branch manager (chances are the person you're actually interviewing with isn't the branch manager). In the interview it's more of a sales presentation, after which they'll say they want you to move on to the 2nd interview with the state director. But after the 2nd interview they'll want you to pay somewhere between $200-$250 for licensing.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
there were no difficult questions, it was more of sales presentation from the company
The interview went well, I'm just looking for insight on what I'll be walking into starting this job. I had to add a review to be able to see others reviews, I will update as soon as I start.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The interview questions are the basic questions like past employment, hours willing to work, just stuff like that.
I applied online. I interviewed at American Income Life (Bluffdale, UT)
Interview
Virtual group interview with about 11 people. They gave a breakdown of what would be required (An insurance license) and what we could expect. There is no base salary and each sale is estimated to average $500

Question 1
can you register for the licensing course today or tomorrow
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at American Income Life (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2023
Interview
Process was disjointed and inconclusive. Zoom - 3 total. 1st- basic meet-greet. 2nd- a company promo video you watch alone mostly about an annual convention in a tropical location: nothing specific about the job. 3rd- "Host is in another meeting," waited 20 mins and left, so it never happened.

Question 1
There wasn't a real interview. Never got to find out about the agency or the actual position. If it's that disorganized and disrespectful from the get-go, I want nothing to do with it.
