I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Box
Interview
Step 1:Phone with recruiter, Step 2: phone with hiring manager, Step 3: onsite with 6 people - lots of behavioral questions with very open ended scenarios. Very odd interview style - not friendly, just mechanical and interviewers took copious notes on my responses. A couple of times I asked for clarification on the question they had asked and the interviewers just started telling me what they were looking for instead of letting me redirect my response. Typical interview tips say try to find common ground and be friendly but I struggled to do this as I was getting no feedback from them as we talked.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Box (Redwood City, CA) in Jan 2016
Interview
Box had a standard interview process: An initial phone screen by the recruiter, followed by another phone screen by a member of the team, followed by a full day interview in the office.
