I was contacted via phone with a first call where we discussed salaries expectations, experience and general fit. the process took one week with two calls technical interviews: 1) With internal validation 2) Client validation. I was called to discuss starting date and to notify that I would an offer letter in the next days. I receive a strange question, asking again about my salary expectations and then another email saying that they cannot accept those salary range and offers like a 35% less than desired expectations (Unacceptable for me, because this offer was in fact less than my current salary). Just a friendly tip for recruiters: Be clear with your offer constraints in order to avoid face an entire hiring process with 0 results.
