I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Capital Group (Los Angeles, CA) in Jan 2012
Interview
I went in and was greeted by a person from human resources. I then met with an investment analyst. He basically wanted to get a sense of how I think about investments. What kind of analysis do I do, both quantitative and qualitative. How do I think about upside and downside? How would I size a position in a portfolio?
Behavioral interview followed by a technical interview, which included a stock pitch. Each interview took about 30-60 min. The technical interview had several people sitting in, while the behavioral one was with an HR person only.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Capital Group (New York, NY) in Jan 2019
Interview
Fun interactive conversations about investing, companies and life. They seem to care about what makes you think differently and your intellectual honesty and humility. This makes the process less stressful than otherwise.
