      Office Assistant Interview

      Aug 18, 2023
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Albuquerque, NM
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Coldwell Banker (Albuquerque, NM) in Aug 2023

      Interview

My impression of the interview process was not good, and I'll explain why. The interviewer told me that the realtors tend to be "moody" and "antisocial". She also mentioned a few times that there is a "huge learning curve" and that it's not "rocket science". I didn't get the chance to ask all my questions. The interviewer also told me there would be a two-week probationary period. Concluding the interview, the interviewer asked me to perform an addition and grammar/spelling test. Depending on your level of experience, I would say it's not worth it; they advertised this position at only $12.50.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Something to the effect of, "Can you handle moody people?" "Can you come in 5 minutes prior to the start of your shift?" "Is scanning documents and uploading them to our information system too complicated?"
