The initial communication and interview set up was very quick and concise, but allowing me time to arrange for a good interview time that worked for me. However, when I got there, the manager I was supposed to interview with was not in the office. It would have been nice to get a rescheduled interview but I was willing to go back for a second interview. I spoke with a girl on the team and the manager's assistant. The interview went well, there were no awkward moments or anything. I fully expected to get a second interview. However, after emailing the two people I interviewed with and copying the manager, I heard nothing for a week. When I finally called the manager to check on my status, she seemed very put out that I would even call her and said they were not interested in me.
So for me to take the time out of my day (I had to take some time off work) and drive 45 minutes one way to Franklin for the interview, I heard nothing from them.
Still it would have been nice for the manager to take a minute out of her day to email back the candidates who interviewed. I think that it's very unprofessional and not courteous or respectful.
In addition, the work environment seemed like a very stiff, corporate place to work. Very Office Space-ish.
