I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at DISH (Thornton, CO) in May 2009
Interview
Went into the call center, applied, took various (maybe 2-3) computer tests and a call simulation, finished, was advised of my results (passed) and then was done until I was contacted at a later time to set up an interview. When I went in for my interview it was done by 2 people as I recall, the first one I dont remember, the second person was a call center supervisor, I was asked your typical interview questions and the interview was complete. Short time later I was offered the job and accepted. Whether or not you had to complete the drug test was random and I did not have to but another girl in my training class said that she did have to, and will randomly have to throughout employment.

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at DISH in Jun 2025
Interview
The interview was done online and lasted about 30 minutes. The recruiter was gracious, professional, and very easy to talk to. She had a lot of information to discuss, which is good as she was thorough in making sure I, as a candidate, knew what I was getting into. So, communication and honesty were emphasized, which helped me in making my decision. Most of the interview was reviewing DISH culture and policies and ensuring I understood them. She then asked approximately 3 situational questions and a few relatively personal questions to get to know more about my personality. They weren't difficult questions, but should be answered in STAR format. I believe one of them was about learning a new skill and applying it in the context of customer service. This interview was one of the better ones that I have experienced in my life, so I don't really have anything negative or critical to say.
