I interviewed at DoorDash (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2025
Interview
Overall Experience: Highly Professional and Transparent
Communication: I was thoroughly impressed by the promptness of both the recruiting staff and the hiring managers. Every email and scheduling update was handled with speed, which is a rarity in modern hiring.
Process Clarity: The interview structure was exceptionally transparent. At every stage, the team clearly outlined what was expected of me, who I would be speaking with, and what the specific goals of the conversation were.
The Interviewers: The managers I met with were not only punctual but deeply engaged. They provided a realistic look into the day-to-day operations at DoorDash, leaving no room for ambiguity regarding the role’s challenges and rewards.

Interview
Got interviewed for a TPM role. Hiring manager said it’s a go.
Round two was young dude who after my 2 minute intro basically said that I should be a software engineer and said he would hire me for a junior role and did not want to pursue the interview.
After 15 years of experience I had to hear this.
I could tell he was being RACIST as well.
I told him I wasn’t interested and we had ended the interview after 5 minutes!
WORST. INTERVIEW. EXPERIENCE. EVER.
