I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at DoorDash (Tempe, AZ) in Oct 2022
Interview
Very long and typical of Silicon Valley. Everyone was preparing me for the "big 3 hour interview" so they were all talking at me rather than interviewing me. I was told in the interview that they wanted to proceed with the big three hour interview and that I was in the top three of candidates. Then, the recruiter ghosted me in the middle of the interview process and wouldn't answer my questions about scheduling or timeline of the big interview. Right before the big interview they said they weren't going to proceed with me before I even had a chance to interview, even though they told me I was going to interview. Truly the only interview question I really got to answer was telling them about myself, they did not really get to see what I could do.
Straightforward process. Had to create an ELT/ILT as part of the sample project. The team was warm and friendly and the hiring manager was very transparent about what the team was looking for.

I applied through other source. I interviewed at DoorDash in Jun 2022
Interview
Had a zoom interview that went in depth of the position and over view of your skills. I had emailed a follow up about a week after the interview to get a confirmation of continuing in interview process or a no, and they never responded to my emails.
