Interview with Regional Sales Manager. There are a couple of good Regional Sales Manager, make sure you ask the Regional Sales Manager what their turnover ratio is; verify it is accurate, don't trust the manager. Make sure you clarify first year salary versus second year salary, and what the particular Regional Sales Manager's turnover ratio is with sales reps. That will protect you if their is dishonesty should you leave after one year; you can hold the company liable because you may have accepted the position based on a lie from the Regional Sales Manager you will be employed by.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at FindLaw in Dec 2009
Interview
They're looking for winners. People who are disciplined to work on their own and drive new business in. I showed to be very competitive on the personality profile and he said that I scored very well.
Started with a phone interview - nothing tricky here, they're just weeding out obvious bad fits. If it goes well they move you on to a face to face. During the face to face, be prepared with stories of good wins and loses from past experience. The presentation was easy and although I was told and expecting to handle objections after my close - the manager just told me great job. It was casual, non intimidating and conversational.
