I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at GNC (Atlanta, GA) in Nov 2011
Interview
The Interview process was nothing more than "Are you willing to work?" It really is a good easy job so I wouldn't expect panel reviews or anything like that. The interview process is seen more on the sales floor. If you can meet sales expectations you may have your job, but if you fail to meet sales numbers you have failed and may be terminated.
Easy interview since the person really needed someone to hold the cashier position. All I had to prove was that I could do math and if I was available during the week.
Lied to during interview about bonus, never received any compensation. Non existent don’t count on getting anything other than hourly
Hourly pay is very low, not worth the effort due to manager responsibilities
The interview process was pretty straightforward and simple. If I might add, was very standard as well. Know a little about products and supplements, health and fitness, and you will be golden
