The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Genentech (Vacaville, CA) in Feb 2012
Interview
Ten people interviewed for one position. I thought my interview went great. All the questions were either fit based or behavioral and the tone was very conversational. The hiring manager said he would notify applicants of his decision 2-4 weeks after the interview and I never received a response. I emailed twice asking about a verdict, and he responded saying he was out of the country. I waited until 8(!) weeks after the interview and finally called to get some answers. Very, very disorganized.
