Applied and then one week later was called in for an interview. Had the interview met with the HR Director and Front Office Director. Same day met with the General Manager. Day after I was asked to submit my recommendations. Got offered the job the next day.

Inexperienced director hiring at random. No reference checks only email reference. With my vast experience in the field, I’ve applied dozens of times and when finally meeting the staff, it seems someone at the helm is purposely sabotaging this company!

Super unprofessional interview process. HR texting you from their personal phone. Hiring manager extremely hard to connect with, which is different for someone in a people-centric role. The reason for not receiving an offer was the fact that I didn’t have enough longevity on the jobs on my resume, and my reasons for leaving were vague. When my reason was literally the Covid Layoffs that hospitality experienced worldwide. And one personal reason that caused me to relocate, which was thoroughly explained in the pre screen with HR.

One on one, questions pertaining to experience and background. Also personality and management or leadership style. Interview started with question asking “tell me about yourself”. Then moved on to questions pertaining to the job and ability to perform related tasks.
