      Accepted offer
      Positive experience

      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at IBM (Calcutta) in Oct 2016

      Interview

This process was one of the best selection process for a fresher to get hired. It was pool campusing at Techno India, Salt Lake. It was held on 20th of October,2016. Firstly there was an aptitude test which consisted of 18 questions from number series and 18 from quantitative aptitude. I cleared this round. Then on same day we had to do the biometric verification(finger prints). It went till 12 'O clock at night as there were many students who cleared their first round. Then we were called for the interview on 23rd of October, 2016. The were 14 panels for the interview. It was said to be the both Technical and HR round. I went for the interview. It was great experience giving the interview. I was asked about my industrial training. I said about it very confidently. Interviewer asked me about Internet of Things, I answered and explained it very well. After all these, I was given 2-3 situations to handle. I gave the answer according to the view I keep. After that I was asked about my family background. I was asked if it was my first Interview or not. I gave the answer as it was my second Interview being rejected on the first one. I will not name the company here but the Interviewer asked me about it. I said there. After the interviewer said it was nice talking to you. He asked me if there was any questions in my mind. I asked about the training process, he explained it to me. It got over on a positive note and was very confident about getting selected. On 2nd of November, 2016 got mailed by IBM GBS. It was letter/expression of interest attached to the mail. I was very happy.

      I interviewed at IBM (Bengaluru)

      Interview

First round was a language round that was conducted online. We were asked multiple simple questions in English to test our listening, speaking and reading skills. The next round was a coding assessment round. We were shown two questions of easy-medium level difficulty from the competitive coding website Hacker Rank. The 3rd round was a behavioral assessment round where we were given 5 questions and for each question we were allotted 5 mins to answer before the system automatically submits and goes to the next question. The questions were similar to "Explain about a situation where your leadership allowed for a problem to be solved" etc. The last round was the interview round where they asked both technical and non technical questions. The technical questions that were asked where from the projects we have made that were noted down on our resumes.
