Interview
Standard first interview via phone followed by an in person interview for which all travel expenses to their facility were paid by John Deere. The first interview is about your skills and experience. The second is a behavior style interview where you are asked to explain how you've handled situations in the past.

It was two 1-hour interviews each with 2 interviewers. In both interviews they asked 5 STAR behavioral/situational questions and wanted a specific "competency" to be highlighted. Pretty standard questions and nothing out of the ordinary and an overall good experience.

I applied online without referral and received a phone screening as the first step. After that, I had a team meeting with the hiring manager, where he mainly discussed John Deere and the role. He also asked about my background, and I asked him about the work his team is doing. After that, I got a call for the final interview, which was split into two one-hour sessions, both focused on behavioral questions.
