I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Laserfiche (Long Beach, CA) in December 2016.

Interview

Applied online with resume, contacted by recruiter for a phone screen followed by a coding and 'business' problem to be completed at home and submitted via email. Invited to Long Beach for an interview, after which I never heard back from them!

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Laserfiche (Los Angeles, CA) in March 2016.

    Interview

Well, the phone interview was fine. We talked more about behaviors and past experience, just a few about technical problems. I just submitted the exercises and hope to get a onsite opportunity

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Laserfiche in September 2016.

    Interview

I applied online via their website. Recruiter (based in Long Beach) reached out to me the same day (Monday) and wanted to interview that same week. Although I mentioned scheduling an interview on Wednesday, I received a call a day early - a miscommunication happened along the line. No biggie, rescheduled for the following day without issue.

The phone screen is as expected. Asked to comment on resume, experience, then some basic technical questions were asked (same as previously mentioned here on glassdoor - the questions seem scripted). There were only 3 questions - describe polymorphism, comment on the runtime of inserting an element into a vector/LL, comment on stack vs queue. Note I didn't receive any (to my memory) behavioural questions.

A follow up assignment was sent, as part of their 'standard' interview process. One coding assignment, one analytical/design. I asked the recruiter if I could turn it in on Friday, and she obliged. The coding assignment had no instructions, no preface - only two comments in the file describing what the functions were expected to do. Any questions/clarifications are done through email (slow), and can be done in either Java or C++. Answers are sent back via email.

Received a standard rejection 8 days after assignment submission. No opportunity for follow up as all communication was done via a jobvite email.

    Interview Questions

    • No formal question - but the assignment was the classic "Stamp Dispenser" problem. Two functions needed to be filled in, one that would initialize the Dispenser object, and the other the logic to dispense a given denomination of stamps.   1 Answer
    • A problem solving question. A scenario is given - an automobile manufacturing company is experiencing a defect issue. A transcript of multiple interviews conducted with various persons of the company are provided. You have to answer with the following after reading the problem: problem statement, possible causes, explaining/reasoning/proving possible causes, confirming true cause.   1 Answer
