I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at LinkedIn in Oct 2019
Interview
The interview process started off smoothly, and then when it was time for the product design and execution rounds, it got a bit disorganized. My interviewer completely forgot about our scheduled interview and claimed to be sick - so I waited on the call for 45 ish minutes. Then I had to reschedule a makeup interview and it was conducted from his house - it ended up being a random/general interview. It threw me off.
- Resume Screen
- Recruiter Screen to assess my fit for the role
- 45 minute product sense interview
- Take home assignment
- 4 interview with product leaders assessing product sense / execution
3 stages that are interesting! The first round is the recruiter round, the second is the pm round and the final is the final round, in each of them lasts about 45 minutes
Average interview. Consisted of a combination of case studies and work experience related questions. Initial recruiter round followed by HM round. And final 4 rounds with product managers onsite. Recruiter was amazing and very proactive throughout the process. Questions on Product strategy, Product improvement, stakeholder management and prioritization.
