I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at LinkedIn (Bengaluru) in Oct 2022
Interview
It wasn't very tough to say.
Initial OA had 2 medium leetcode level questions.
and some 25 mcqs based on core cs
Then technical round and Host manager round.
technical round started with a warm up dsa question easy level, then an hour long discussion on a tree traversal, two pointer kinda question.
wasn't able to give the most optimal approach, but gave a working solution and exploring all possibilities and dry running the code
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Host manager round was a bunch of hr questions, asked as a rapid fire, like what i like about technology, how i got into the domain, some experience specific and situation based question to assess my tech and non tech abilities
interviewer kept reschduling to the point where most positions were full already. Whole process of getting original interview scheduled to last interview was over a month. Was very relatively difficult interview.
One online assessment (pretty standard leetcode type question)
Recruiter call (not really a screen, it was just a chat, and here i scheduled my interviews)
Technical Interview (do Leetcode Tagged)
Hiring Manager ( it was really chill. it was pretty much just a chat)
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at LinkedIn (Bengaluru) in Aug 2025
Interview
Two rounds
Technical and HR
Technical round focused solely on DSA but might be different for different colleges
HR round was like a blind date.
Very enjoyable experience overall..
Must thoroughly know your projects OR be very good at communication skills, I was the latter as I didn’t have time to thoroughly go through the projects I had done.
