I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Marriott International (Stafford, VA) in Nov 2013
Interview
It was short and sweet. I was responding to a notice in the paper about a job fair. It was clearly NOT a job fair: I walked in, gave my resume, and walked out, which surprised me. I was not anticipating having any kind of interview. After that, I received a call asking me to come to orientation the following Monday. It wasn't until orientation that I discovered other people were given actual interviews, answering actual questions and having sat down with the actual managers.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They didn't ask me anything, except which job was I interested in.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Marriott International (Albion, MI) in May 2018
Interview
Asked simple questions; why do you think we should hire you and what would you bring to our company? Asked personal questions and about previous jobs and experiences along with asking what you would do in the middle of it being hectic and crazy.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Marriott International in Jun 2015
Interview
Talked over phone- was scheduled interview in person. Due to miscommunication person i was supposed to interview with was not there, so i met with someone else. Came back later in the day to interview with who I was originally intended to interview with.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Marriott International in May 2015
Interview
Very quick and easy interview. I met with the kitchen supervisor and interviewed in the lobby. She was very nice and basically just asked my availability and asked a few questions about my experience in the kitchen. She also asked some "tell me about yourself" kind of questions like what I like to do for fun.
