Applied through university careers fair. After resume screening, an initial phone interview followed by a 'mingle drinks' session. Essentially a networking event. After the mingle drinks session, for those who made it through we were invited back to the group interview. This was very disorganised, rescheduled about 3 times. They made the company out to be really great which it probably was for employees but don't be fooled by the name of the position. It is a purely sales role. the group interview consisted of agorup about 15 candidates with a panel of 6 managers, who took notes as each of us went up, did self-introductions, a group activity to prepare a presentation about how a certain company of choice could benefit from a meltwater product. After that we were given a short (2-3 minutes i think) to sell our passion. We were then walked out of the room by one of the managers who Q&Aed us. We were told we'd be called back within the hour to be told whether we made it through for the final interview (same day). However we waited for almost 2 hours. Not a great impression of the company itself.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Meltwater (Montreal, QC) in Feb 2017
Interview
1. Invite-only office open house, pretty informal, with beer and wine. They present the history of the company and their favorite client cases. Mostly to get to know the company and for the team to get to know you.
2. Selected candidates get called back for a group interview. Have to fill out a questionnaire and send it before. This stage is more professional and official.
3. Selected candidates get called back for an individual interview.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Meltwater (Washington, DC) in Apr 2016
Interview
I applied and the next day I have a Phone screening, after the phone screening I was then invited to a group interview. I then received a call back that day for a one on one interview. I was told I would hear back within the week if I would be offered a position.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Meltwater (Boston, MA) in Feb 2016
Interview
I met a member of the team at a career fair at my school and I applied simply by handing him my resume. I received an email soon after asking to schedule a phone interview. It was mostly informational, she asked about my resume and described company culture and job position.
