Spoke with a VP. I walked away with the impression that the company cared about people. I am told that a person who has recently been confirmed as deceptive was questioned about me and the VP and recruiter never had the courtesy to respond to me again after failing to confirm lies from this individual. We all suffer through job hunting or we are chased by recruiters who mysteriously stop communicating. It is frustrating to be led on or to sit and wonder when simple courtesy could be applied to the situation. It's because we are just numbers to them and when they think they have no use for us they simply dismiss us. Professional courtesy warranted at least an email to say that the company was not interested. At our level there will always be a disgruntled former employee or even a person who thinks dragging the reputation down of one person shines a positive light on them. MindPoint did a poor job of finding reliable resources for my informal background check. I am grateful that an offer was not made. I would never work for, or with a company like this.
