Interview
This was genuinely the best interview process I've been in. For starters, the initial call with the sales recruiter was great. She was extremely friendly and instantly put me at ease. While the process in general was long, everyone I spoke to was really nice and friendly. At no point did I feel anyone was trying to catch me out or ask purposely difficult questions. The process consisted of 4 calls with different managers and a final onsite presentation and role play. The final round was honestly not too bad provided you have done some prep for it. They also offered a 30min informal prep call with the hiring manager prior to it- which is really helpful. The process is long but I guess they want to make sure you are keen on the company as they invest a lot in you (bootcamp in NY for example). If you are serious about working in mongoDB and prepared to do a bit of research then it should be fine.

why sales? why mongoDB? why the industry? If you have some good answers to these questions then you are off to a good start.
Very straightforward and clear instructions on next steps. Asked questions around sales experience and what I was looking for in an organization. First round was a screening, followed up by multiple rounds with managers and directors.

I had the initial call with the recruiter which said that she would like to put me through to the next step, interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager was on holidays and recruiter promised she would contact me and schedule an interview right after his return. Even though I sent a follow up email I was completely ignored
