I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Netspend (Austin, TX)
The interview is really stress free and laid back! There really wanting someone who is serious about working and flexible and will be punctual. The only draw back is finding someone who will work Saturdays!
- The basic questions ask. Simple and laid back

A bit protracted, but generally fair and balanced. Spoke with recruiter, then hiring manager then with a few other people on the team. Was finally provided an offer after about a three month process.
- Most difficult decision in professional career and how did you deal with it?

The interview process for the Customer Service Rep position was a very smooth process. Professional interviewers and they know how to connect with you on a professional level. Friendly and kind throughout the interview.
- What qualifications would you say you have?

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Netspend (Noida) in Sep 2021
Got interview scheduled on Saturday 11 am Interviewer didn't come by 11:05am I called HR and then the interviewer came. Asked questions only about Garbage collector internal working, within 10-15 minutes max, he said he is done. I have 6 years of working experience in the industry. But the interviewer judged it all within hardly 15 minutes. No questions asked other than the garbage collector internal working and java memory model. Asked HR for the feedback on my interview through mail as well as over the call. Never heard anything from them ever. Unprofessional!! Pretty bad interview this was!
- 1 - What is garbage collector and how it works internally? 2 - difference between hashmap and concurrent hashmap 3 - Explain the Java memory model

2 managers interview you, one of which will be your floor manager. Pretty easy questions, make sure to ask your own questions, engage with whom ever you sit down with.
- What does customer service mean to you?

Standard three rounds of interviews including recruiter phone screen, phone call with hiring manager, peer interviews and cross functional team interviews. Not very difficult. Everyone was professional asking standard questions.
- What are you looking for in a new opportunity?

I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Netspend (Austin, TX) in Feb 2020
It was easy. I feel like they were separated to hire anybody. But I guess the interview process was easy and the interviewer was very nice and friendly. He was very professional.
- What do you have to offer to the company?

It was easy going. The manager Eric that interviewed me was excellent and fun. He was very nice and a very good manager. But the interview is the only good thing about the job.
- How do you handle a difficult customer?

HR was slow to respond initially then it went smoothly. One day of interviews. Met 4 people in total. Culture and personality fit are very important. After the interview they were quick to process but I don't think that is always the case.
- Prior work experience with an edge toward how hard I worked and would be willing to work.
- Experience with prepaid or financial services.
- Extent of my commitment to staying in a role for a period of time.

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Netspend (Austin, TX) in Feb 2017
Interview was pretty basic. However no one was at the front desk for about 5 minutes I waited to even get a visitors pass. Security apologized. He phoned the interviewers and The seemed pretty casual actual. I mentioned the new building then we discussed the colorful paint on our way to thee conference room. They asked cookie cutter questions and their response was a subtle "thank you." Afterward. Each question was generic. It lasted all of maybe 20 minutes. They said it is contact for 6 months so nothing was guaranteed.
