I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Panda Express (Independence, MO) in Sep 2017
Interview
Interview location was 40 minutes away from the location I applied to. Interview was with 4 women all at once. One was friendly, two were just kinda quiet, and another was somewhat unfriendly. It was uncomfortable. They asked so many questions. Expect it to feel like you are interviewing for an important career type of job and not just a mall food court position. They ask you to explain yourself a lot and the blonde woman almost seems like she wants to trip you up by backing you into corners with her questions. Honestly if I knew how intense the interview would be I don't think I would have applied.
Pretend that I'm the customer and you're working, how would you sign me up for a loyalty plan even if i say I'm not interested? How do you upsale things?
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Panda Express
Interview
It was very easy, just answer honestly since they are hiring they want to hire anyone that shows they will be a good employee. Don't try to move up in management, unless you want to stay with the company for 5+ years, they will make you bend over backwards for them.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Panda Express (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
It was an average interview about 15 minutes long. Not too critical, but they ask a good questions. I had a second interview with the district manager, and she was very nice.
