In February 2024, I had a screening with one of the recruiters, which led to a group interview with the VP or HRBP and a new Director of HRBP, Sales & Marketing. After the interview concluded, I had followed up thanking everyone and continued to reach out every week for almost 7 weeks to receive an update. The recruiter went rogue and I felt ghosted by the entire process. I never did receive a follow-up acknowledging a decision was made and/or the position closed. Although I left the interviews on a positive note, it would have been helpful to have the team proactively communicate potential next steps with the process and/or event changes that may have impacted their decision to hire for the role.
