I applied online. I interviewed at Procore Technologies (Austin, TX) in Apr 2019
Interview
Customary call with recruiter followed by contact with hiring manager followed by phone screen. Phone screen was not a good experience. Within a minute of the beginning of the call, I was given a technical question which I began working through but decided to cut short at the fifty minute mark so I could ask some questions. Clearly the intention of Procore was to just have me code for a full hour with no interaction and then just sign off. Phone screens should feature a technical problem that can be solved in at most a half hour or they should allow you to solve it offline. Not allocating *any* time for questions is simply too impersonal for me.

Question 1
Here are a series of bowling scores, write some code to calculate the scores. Required too much explanation and was probably too complex to solve within the given time frame.

The process was smooth and the question was direct . asking about some situations . something like what you did when you found your colleague have a lot of bugs

I applied through other source. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Procore Technologies (Cairo, Cairo Governorate) in Oct 2024
Interview
Four interviews. Two technical, one behavioral and one leadership. One of the best interview processes I've experienced. Upon request for feedback, the recruiter offered me a callback, which was extremely helpful in absorbing, for once, the empirical reasons for rejection.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Procore Technologies in Jun 2024
Interview
I was supposed to have two interviews.
Firstly, they tried setting me up for an interview they already had someone in mind for, but didn't know if he was willing to move from Houston.
They cancelled when he accepted, but rescheduled when I pointed out a new position was listed to the recruiter. Nailed that interview but then they notified me that position was being closed. Tried to interview for a third position with the same requirements, and the recruiter just ghosted me when I asked.
Seems like they're completely disorganized and frankly I feel like I dodged a bullet
