I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Prudential (Dallas, TX) in Nov 2014
Interview
There is a first round interview with 1-2 team leaders (i found this through campus recruiting), and if you make it past that, they will invite you for second round interviews (a super day) at the office. The first round interview was about what you would expect from an investing/asset management interview. The super day was, i thought, more challenging. Not only because of many back to back interviews, but also, each of the directors or VPs you were meeting really wanted to get to know you and you really had to keep that friendly, talkative and outgoing persona throughout the whole day. This company places a lot of emphasis on fit--they interview lots of qualified people, so if they dont like you, they wont hire you. End of story.
Overall, the company was very communicative throughout the process and kept me updated.... they stuck to their timelines and had a very quick turnaround (relative to my experience) from second rounds to making offers

Hirevue interview was about 4 questions. Still waiting to get back superday but the hirevue was behavioral questions and one brain teaser. I also have talked with multiple analysts and done on campus recruiting events with PGIM to try and help with the recruiting process.
