Applied online, got a call for an interview about 8 days later. Interviewed the following day. The interview was very short, kind of informal but I just assumed it was because the store was so busy and because it's a seasonal cashier position. Asked the basic questions - whats customer service to you? What can you bring to Sephora? What was your last/most recent job like? It took about 15 minutes overall. I think I waited more to meet with the hiring manager than how long the actually interview took place. Called the following Monday because I needed to tell my job at school that I would be unable to work for them. Was offered the position. Overall very fast and easy process.

I was first contacted over the phone for a quick phone screen. During the phone call, I was asked about my previous job experiences, responsibilities, and why I left my previous job. I was also asked about why I chose Sephora. They then asked me to come in for an interview. When I came in for the in-person interview, I sat and spoke with the manager who asked me typical interview questions.

Easy interview process, though I’d recommend going in to speak with the manager first (which is generally good practice for all retail jobs). You’ll have a phone interview & and in-person interview & then you’ll find out if you’ve gotten the job. Good luck!
